Terms of Service
Last updated 14 October 2026
1. Who we are
Duly Noted is operated by Express it Vendelsö AB, a limited company registered in Sweden ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. The service
Duly Noted is a web application that reads sheet music you upload (PDF, image or MusicXML), works out the playing order and plays it back as audio. Recognition is automatic and will contain errors; the service lets you correct chord symbols and the playing order (repeats, endings and jumps), but not the notes themselves. The service is provided as is, for practice and study. It is not a substitute for a published edition or a human arranger.
3. Your account
You sign in with your e-mail address through a one-time code. The address identifies your library; keep it accurate and do not share your sign-in link with others. You must be at least 16 years old, or have a guardian's consent, to use the service. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page in the app.
4. Free use, piece packs, subscription and payment
Without a subscription you can read one piece of up to 4 pages for free – a reading that fails does not count – and play it at its written tempo, with corrections. Changing the tempo, looping, transposing and reading more pieces require a subscription, billed monthly or yearly as shown on our pricing page. There is no trial period: the first payment is taken when you subscribe, and the subscription renews until you cancel.
Instead of a subscription you can buy a piece pack: a one-time payment of €3 for 3 pieces. Each successful reading uses one piece – a reading that fails does not – and that piece stays fully unlocked (tempo, looping, transposing, reading again) for as long as you keep it in your library and have an account. Unused pieces never expire. A pack does not renew, and deleting a bought piece does not give the piece back. If you have a subscription, readings during it do not use your pack.
Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), acting as merchant of record. Creem is the seller for payment and tax purposes, charges your card, applies VAT where required and issues your receipt. Creem's own terms apply to the payment.
You can cancel at any time from inside the app (Manage subscription) or through the link in your receipt. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If you delete your account instead, the subscription ends at once together with the account, and the rest of the period is not refunded; unused pieces from packs are lost and not refunded either. Refunds for a period already started are otherwise handled by Creem according to their refund policy.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail. The new price applies from your next renewal.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the files you upload. We process them only to provide the service to you: recognising notes, building images, audio and corrections, and storing them in your library. We do not share your files with other users and do not use them to train models. If you choose to send a piece to support with “Help us read better”, we keep a copy to find out why it was read badly and to improve the app, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to upload and use the sheet music you add. Do not upload material you are not permitted to copy. We will remove content on a substantiated notice from a rights holder.
You can delete any piece from your library at any time; deletion removes the file and everything derived from it, except a copy you have sent to support, which you withdraw separately. When your subscription ends we keep your library for 90 days so you can come back, then delete it. Deleting your account deletes the library and any copies sent to support at once.
6. Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or use it to provide a competing service. Uploads are limited in size and in the number of pieces per library; the current limits are shown in the app.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service as a whole we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid period beyond the closing date.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost data you have not kept a copy of, or errors in the recognised music.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning where reasonable.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts; as a consumer you also have the rights of your country of residence and may use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect.
